The last two days of the orientation was the Central Nursing Orientation. We went over the computer systems, got a flu shot, and learned everything about the hospital pertaining nursing. These days were long because we had a lot of travel nurses in the orientation. I would love to be a travel RN, but I know that I need to get hospital experience before I can do that. I couldn't imagine going to a new hospital every 3 months!
We practiced tying restraints and went over practice charts to see if we could find information. Everyone at this hospital is sOo nice! Every day I am once again reminded how blessed I am.
