Go Me!

Wow, I actually am updating this blog 2 days in a row. I hope to keep this up! Until August 17th, it'll mostly be about summer, work, and studying. Once school starts, it'll be all about 2nd semester. = )

Today me and two friends are carpooling to a going away party. Should be fun!

WOW, it's been a long time!

I thought for sure I would be updating this daily, but time got the best of me.

Well I made it through the first semester of nursing school and boy was it fun! It was also intense down to the last day. I went into the final with a 79% and got a 80 something on my final. My final grade for the semester was a B!!! WOW, I totally didn't expect that since they say to be happy with C's and thrilled with B's. The downside to nursing school is that a lot of people in our class didn't make it. = ( We lost about 23 in our class of 46.

A recap (and documentation for me):

*Had Florence for clinicals and CMH. She was awesome! I became great friends with my clinical group.
*Passed 2nd dosage calcualtion exam on the first try.
*Passed all clinical skills on the first try, except wound care. I passed on the 2nd try though.

I start second semester on August 17th. I will be going to school M/TH/F. I will have clinicals at SJRMC. I am excited!

Alittle Late, but worth the wait

Hello!

I have been thinking about doing this blog for some time now. I figured if anything it'll be a nice thing to have in the future when I am a nurse! I can look back and see what I went through. = )

I am currently getting ready to start my 5th week in nursing school. It's absolutely insane, but I love it! I passed the dosage calculation test on the first try and got a B on my first theory exam. What an awesome way to start the semester.

I am currently work 36 hours a week, and hoping that my financial aid will come through soon.

I am really going to try to update this nightly, or at least every other night.
